Salmon Lifecycle Landscape

Still in its planning and design stages the Salmon Lifecycle Landscape is a project planned for the Leavenworth National Fish Hatchery. It is planned to be a 4 acre interpretive trail that will lead visitors through the life of a salmon. From hatching in rivers and streams to growing up in lakes and ponds, to migrating out towards the ocean to one day return again. Some of the ecosystems on the trail will include ocean, estuary, coastal range, Columbia gorge, Columbia basin, cascade mountains, and spawning grounds/headwaters.
