Community Engagement & Education

Through free public events and experiential learning opportunities, and providing technical and financial assistance to landowners, Cascade Fisheries connects with individuals throughout NCW to find restorative solutions that benefit our communities and recover our iconic fishes.

Cascade Fisheries offers hands-on & minds-on experiential learning opportunities for educational institutions and provide cost-free community events throughout North Central Washington. Topics include but are not limited to native fish biology, ecology, and physiology, endangered and threatened fish recovery, watershed sciences, and aquatic habitat restoration. In classrooms or in the field, lessons and events can be tailored to fit all ages, all subjects (yes, even gym class!), and meet K-12 Next Generation Science Standards.

Have a great idea for an event? Curious about community science opportunities? Interested in having us visit your classroom? Want to discuss ways we can help you integrate fishy fun into your curriculum? Please feel free to contact us:
